Sport in İsmailli

The main, and very important, a criterion for the value of the Ismayilli region is its unique nature. No wonder the area is called a resort. Along with the villages of Kurtmashy and Gubakhalilli, where the snow lasts no more than a week in winter, there is the village of Kaladzhuh, where frosts of 30 degrees are not uncommon. Along with the steppes in the south, the northern part of the region is surrounded by mountains on the peaks of which almost no snow is falling.

Ismayilli State Reserve

Ismayilli State Reserve was founded on 34,400 hectares. The purpose of the creation is to protect and increase the number of animals and birds. The plant area consists of alpine, subalpine mountain grasses, and forest plants. Forests are covered mainly with peanuts and oaks. Roe deer, Caucasian deer, wild boar, lynx, wolf, fox, rabbit, jackal, forest cat, raccoon, badger, squirrel, and so on live in the reserve.
